Tour de Scandinavia
A drone road trip through Sweden to Norway's Lofoten Islands and back through Finland and the Baltic states.
The second drone roadshow headed north. We travelled through Germany and Sweden, continued to Norway’s Lofoten Islands, and returned home through Finland and the Baltic states.
The gallery follows the roughly 6,500-kilometre route in travel order: from Schwerin Castle through Sweden’s lakes and Midsummer celebrations, onward to the sharp peaks and fishing villages of Lofoten, then to Finland’s lake country and finally Trakai Castle in Lithuania.
The far north brought both the midnight sun and unusually high temperatures. With daylight lasting through the night, there was no shortage of time for flying and photography.
